Lee`s Village Restaurant Ltd in Steinbach

Wife and I went out for Buffet, to only experience that all the food was cold and still had to pay for it, bunch of scrap. Also, the hot the drink order wrong. If the rating system had a minus rate scale that's were they would be. St.Anne Chinese restaurant is way far the best in the area for quantity / quality!!!!!

Love this place won't go to any other Chinese restaurant in Steinbach.

Yummy food, pretty good service too but could be a little more professional

Food was not good. All the meat/chicken was dry. Nothing had flavour. You get lots of food, but you don’t want to eat the left overs!

Serving size is good for the money. I the ginger beef is AMAZING

Chow mein was nothing more than thin instant noodles drowning in over an inch of water with a couple tiny bits of chicken and nearly raw vegetables on top. Ive never known anything like it. I never saw one with even a few drips, let alone a half litre of water.

The food was ok , my chow mein was soggy and chicken was quite bland . The service was good but would have appreciated food coming out at the same time for the whole table . For 2 adults and 3 young kids we paid 70$ , way overpriced ! Not impressed , would not eat here again

The service here is pretty good, the staff is friendly and prompt, however the restaurant smelled of an uncleaned bathroom when we walked in. The food is mediocre, and seeing as it is supposed to be a Chinese restaurant, the food there is basically just American food with some general Chinese sauces. There were tater tots in the buffet, just to give an idea of what they serve. Overall, I wasn't impressed enough to return.

My favourite Chinese restaurant in town for sure. There is usually a bit of a wait however, but great food.

He went in the back and microwaved our food from frozen. Some was still cold

No more buffet, mixed up the order, soup sucked, didnt bring extra napkins as promised. never going back

I sat with my family on a night when the buffet was happening to my surprise the buffet was empty with only a few scraps in the tins. It remained that way for about an hour with nothing leaving the kitchen. a group of staff was seen talking among themselves and when I asked about the food situation i was met with "it'll get here when it gets here" staff were unwelcoming and service was horrible. I don't know about food quality because we never got any

Not sure which was worse, the food or the service but would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Service was atrocious with little to no interaction with waitress. Drinks and hot water were never refilled, we were never asked how the food was and we had to go and find our waitress for the bill. The food was no better ! Very bland and what the F* is that clear thick sauce you get with the spring rolls ?!?!? If management even looks at these reviews, they have to train the serving staff properly and also get rid of the teenage short order cooks that prepare the meals because there is no way a chef works there. If there was an option of a 0 star they would have received it !

The food is NOT BLAND! It is flavourful and some is quite spicy. We especially appreciated the buffet.

The most awful food i have ever eaten. The deluxe wonton soup had at least a 1/2 head of cabbage in it with some tasteless orange broth that was absolutely Gross. The egg foo young was burnt badly but they still served it to us and would not deduct it off the bill. Every plate was loaded with cabbage. When we walked in, the Angry Asian Guy (server) says find a table then he literally tossed a paper and pen onto the table and doesn't say another word. After the horrible food came we never saw our server again, was offered No Water either to wash the garbage down with. We did not act in any way disrespectful at this restaurant to warrant such poor service and food. I wonder now if the pork was really swine or feline cause it didn't taste like pork. Avoid this place like the plague..

Let me put it this way. If this were a zombie-end-of-the-world-apocalypse then this food would be eatable enough to survive starvation. Noodles were undercooked, over powering on pepper in all dishes, stingy with chicken balls, and there was too much sauce in the items. Had a weird taste in mouth afterward. Not best Chinese food I've tasted. Won't order again.

First time ive been here was amazing!Went a second time, the service was extreamily slow, food was disgusting,.not cooked and still half cold. They did pay for the drinks.

When we walked in we were greeted by a young man who very abruptly told us to find our own seat. He then put a sheet of order paper and a pencil on our table and pointed at it. We were not asked if we wanted anything to drink and sat there for a minimum of 10 minutes and and still weren't asked. The restaurant was very slow so he was not busy....just lazy and rude. If you're going to charge the prices they do you should at least ha e polite service.

Seriously some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. It all came out hot, everything was cooked perfectly. All the meats were tender and not overdone. The Ginger Beef actually tasted like ginger. The staff was friendly and prompt. I live in Alberta, so I'm pretty sad that we can't eat here more often, but whenever we are in Steinbach, Lee's will be a must-stop. Thanks for the wonderful meal!PS Any reviews complaining about price need to look at ordering group meals, Chinese food is always expensive when you order multiple custom meals. And take reviews like that at face value. A good meal at an expensive price is not a 1 star meal...

Family place, been going since a kid and the food is always great! They dont skimp on the rice, check balls are big and the food is booming with flavour!

I had an amazing, friendly server and pretty good food. I only gave 4 stars due to the carpets being rather worn with a dirty look even though the restaurant did look well cleaned besides this.

Good food. I didn't give 5 stars because their deep fried rice was a bit disappointing, it tasted more like Uncle Ben's whole wheat rice.
